Old Town Yoga brings music and community to Basalt’s Riverwalk

Opening today, May 4th, 2026, classes at Old Town Yoga will be based around Bhakti yoga involving chanting and music, according to the studio’s owner, Carlie Urell. It will also offer a variety of themed classes, including a class for mothers and babies, a class for children, a complimentary class for seniors with a suggested $5 donation, and other affordable, donation-based options and online video classes. She plans to be an addition to Basalt’s wellness hub built by locals creating smaller, intentional spaces rooted in community.
