White Elephant Resort’s Third Property Opens June 15th in Aspen
Located on the corner of Main Street and Garmisch Street in Aspen’s Core, sits the newly erected White Elephant Aspen, a 54-room hotel with a starting rate of nearly $2,000 a night (no additional resort fee). This rate doesn’t simply afford guests a bed with a view to rest their bones after a day of hiking Aspen Mountain and wandering the shops of Hyman Mall in the summer sun. Oh no. Guests will bask in the brand’s “signature warmth and style in the mountains”, featuring nightly turndown service with local pollinator Chocolate and Byredo toiletries & Dyson hairdryers in the bathrooms. Many of the rooms and suites will allow guests to relish in a morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail on their private outdoor terrace or balcony and the hotel’s penthouse guests will be able to enjoy an in-suite games library by Arhaus.
Outside the rooms and suites, guests can experience anything from a gondola picnic and yoga on mountain to touring the Smuggler Mine and priority tee times at three local golf courses this summer. Amenities include the standard complimentary airport transfers and courtesy cars and go above and beyond the norm with VIP access to Base State Longevity, with offerings of IV drips, red-light therapy, hyperbaric chamber, saunas, and a cold plunge.
If you’re not looking for a night’s stay, you can tuck in to a table at the hotel’s signature restaurant, LoLa 41°, with its speakeasy lounge instead. The restaurant offers fresh, sustainable seafood influenced by Mediterranean and Asian flavors.
