There’s something electric in the air as we edge closer to winter—fresh snow dusting the peaks, skis getting their annual tune, and that unmistakable buzz that says: it’s almost time.

Mark your calendars - the 2025/26 ski season is nearly here, and our four mountains are gearing up to welcome you back.

• Aspen and Snowmass Mountains open November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day)

• Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk drop their ropes on December 13, 2025

Each mountain has its own rhythm… Ajax’s iconic steeps, Snowmass’s endless terrain, Highlands’ heart-thumping Bowl laps, and Buttermilk’s family-friendly vibe - but they all share that same Aspen energy: laid-back luxury, community, and a love for snow days that turn into après evenings.

This winter, expect a few new surprises too, outlined here in case you missed last month’s newsletter: freshly groomed runs, expanded on-mountain dining, and a renewed focus on sustainability initiatives to keep our slopes pristine for generations to come.

So wax your skis and trade in this year’s Turkey Trot for opening day on the mountain - the lifts will be spinning before you know it. Aspen Awaits.
