Improvements Coming to Snowmass for the 2025-26 Winter Season

As we look to the coming winter season, we’re excited about nearly $80 million in on-mountain improvements in Snowmass Village, including the high-speed six pack chairlift coming to Elk Camp this December. In Base Village, investment continues with the opening of two new restaurants, Slope & Hatch at the Collective and Lift Line at the Viceroy!

In addition to the upgraded Elk Camp list, increasing its capacity from four to six passengers, the new Cirque T-bar is making its debut with a doubled capacity, from one passenger to two. Both upgrades will directly address crowding issues across the mountain.

The Ullrhof reopening that was slated for January 2026 when they began the project in April has unsurprisingly been pushed back to the 2026-27 winter season but the Elk Camp Restaurant’s new 120-seat deck will make up for nearly half of the seating lost by the old Ullrhof in the meantime. The new deck offers weather protection and mountain views.

The Collective Snowmass is gaining an absolute legend of a restaurant with one of Glenwood’s favorite restaurants, Slope & Hatch, making its debut this December next to the Collective Hall and Game Lounge. It’s a casual lunch spot serving both traditional and creative tacos and hot dogs and will be an excellent addition to the Snowmass dining scene.

Viceroy Snowmass will replace its happy hour bar and grill spot, Nest, with its new slopeside restaurant, Lift Line, in December. This ski-in/ski-out slopeside tavern will serve elevated comfort foods such as a double cheeseburger and creamy tomato soup with rotating weekend specials such as fried chicken, fish & chips, or prime rib.
