Real Estate News: City of Aspen Replaces MuniRevs Website for Efficient LocalGov Platform

City of Aspen launches a more efficient, secure and user-friendly experience for businesses and STR permit holders today (June 1st, 2026) by replacing the old MuniRevs/GovOS site with Localgov (https://tax.localgov.org/login) for its online permit and tax portal. Here, users can experience streamlined forms, automatic fee calculations, secure data processing, and flexible payment options such as ACH/EFT and credit or debit cards at any time, eliminating the need for paper forms or in-person transactions.

After its launch, the City will require businesses and STR permit holders to use Localgov for the online submission of forms for licensing, permitting, tax, and fee forms. In addition, the MuniRevs/GovOS access ended as of May 31, 2026, so it is imperative to activate the new account and sign up for a live webinar training if necessary for your business and/or STR permitting needs.
