Swedish Hill Opens at the Aspen Art Museum

The Austin-based café, deli, and bakery called Swedish Hill (formerly Sweetish Hill), has opened its newest outpost atop Aspen’s Art Museum. Swedish Hill has similar offerings you’ve seen here before if you’ve frequented AAM’s Rooftop or SO cafés, in terms of coffee, soups, salads, & sandwiches, with a more extensive pastry menu that I personally appreciate.

For my first visit, I had to try the pistachio croissant with an iced oat milk latte after a hike on the Snowmass Rim Trail. The coffee was not dissimilar to drinks I’ve had here before (delicious and refreshing) and the oversized croissant with a unique filling is certainly a step above the frozen variety previously served at this location. The cinnamon roll and breakfast sandwich are also worth a try. Let me know your thoughts if you give this restaurant a try!
